Weaknesses: Battery won't remain in place, falls out! Current model has the same problem. Difficult to tear down and maintain. Jams, and sticks.

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: Fix the battery holder! The old straight finish model had a plunger/ cover which held the battery in place. Never a problem.

What You Wanted to Know Before You Bought It: nothing, I knew what it was-a light contractor use tool/homeowner. I use Hitachi air guns on my site, and am used to positive placement of fastners no matter what I am shooting. I got in a pinch where I did a small job about 5 states away and needed a framing gun, I had no compressor, no air hose and I was not about to swing hammer 19 lbs of ring shank 16's while on a ladder. It did the job, I had to sink about every 6th nail, but it was still better than not having it

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: more power, better price, make it faster-contact actuation possibly? good for a homeowner or for someone who has small jobs and does not want a lot of set-up time.
