Strengths: Has plenty of power for the professional.

Weaknesses: Not well balanced, can get heavy if you use it alot.

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: Try to give it more balance. It can get front heavy after a lot of use.

Strengths: I recently bought the dewalt cordless drill pack that included a 18v drill and a cordless impact, Iwas also given an extra battery (still have not recieved)at a contractor show, the only thing that I can find as a strength is that the impact works great for running in screws and wont slow down on lag bolts.

Weaknesses: my first day with the drills was a bit of a disapointment the batteries did not last as long as i was told, had down time when both were dead because i didnt get my spare battery, when i called dewalt they told me to send the batteries back then they would send out new ones that would take about a weak to recieve, not what you want to here when you just spent 450 and now you have down time on your tools.

Strengths: Can set it for whatever job I need and it works!

Strengths: plumbers are very hard on there tools this one stands up to the test

Weaknesses: the 75$ battery only tasts 2 years

Strengths: The Dewalt cordless 18 volt impact is great. It has a long lasting battery that normally runs for two hours. The tool is also very light, which maks handling it very easy.

Weaknesses: I have yet to find any weakness!

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: I would buy the repersentative lunch and thank them for making such a great product.

Strengths: It's a little short of the grip to the tip, which makes it feel wierd, but the length is an advantage in tight spaces.

Weaknesses: The keyless chuck is poorly designed and catches drivers and bits between the pieces that extend and contract to grip the bits.

Strengths: long lasting charge ,tough, canhandle a beating

Weaknesses: for me i have bout several dewalts in the years i wood not recommend them to a pro guest yet i wood wait five more years, the thing that i found about dewalt tool is the are like product that are in a position of braking into the market Thai need to price and difference the product to sale .their is one dewalt that i do recommend which is the cop saw stand , others companies have put out their version but it is still the best all in all. if you look at their fit and finish of the tool and compare it to others you will see that it is not as good as others . as well the Patton or template of the tools is of older designed tools. it will take time to up grade it cost money to design or r and d new tool design. its about money.

What You Wanted to Know Before You Bought It: the cost to repair the tool is out of aliment with its cost , if you by it for 150.00 and it cost 50.00 to repair you wood be better of buying the better quality tool in the fist place as you need the tool on the job sit not being repaired .for home use it could be ok as it does not see the work loud.
