Strengths: For a jobsite tool I don't think the tool can bring the strength that is required. Home improvement, on the otherhand, it is a good tool.

Weaknesses: The tool can't handle everyday wear and tear.

What You Wanted to Know Before You Bought It: I have never bought a dewalt tool. I have used other peoples though, I was not impressed.

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: The tool needs to be more heavy-duty: larger motor, heavier plastics, and better geometry.

Strengths: I am still thinking.

Weaknesses: This is the heaviest most inacurate saw I have ever used.After about a month of use the electris brake started to make this horible noise.So that saw is now dedicated to demo work.

What You Wanted to Know Before You Bought It: I went against my better judgement and gave DeWalt the benefit of the doubt. Only if I had listened to my coworkers.

What Would You Tell the Maker of This Tool: That saw needs to be more managable as far as weight and size.The size and weight make cutting in any spot other than at the saw horses dreadful. Not to mention the guide marks on the table are so unacurate you mite as well grind them of and make your own with a sharpie! I HATE THIS SAW !!!!!!
