Construct Seattle Annual Conference and Exposition
Construct Seattle, the premier conference and exposition for the construction and renovation industry in the Northwest, if not the country, has announced their schedule for the 2007 convention.
Dates and Location: September 26 & 27, 2007, at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in downtown Seattle.
Construct Seattle is home to over 150 exhibits and over 40 seminars and presentations during this two day industry extravaganza. The convention is geared towards everyone involved in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, contractors, renovators, developers, builders, and specifiers. With seminars that cover everything from top ten lighting trends to managing construction projects, there's sure to be something for everybody at the convention.
Keynote Speaker Eames Demetrios Speaks on the Charles Eames Centennial
The late designer Charles Eames continues to be one of the most influential designers in modern history. Born in 1907, Eames' design philosophy came to shape modern design, and the centennial of his birth has spawned celebrations on every continent in the world, with the exception of Antartica. Eames Demetrios is an expert in the Eames design philosophy, and will be sharing the design pioneer's ideas, processes, as well as a little of his history in this year's keynote address (Thursday, September 27th at 1:00 pm.
